Diego Salazar-Tortosa, PhD, is Head of Data Analytics at expressTEC, with over ten years of experience in computational biology and human genetics. He holds a PhD from the University of Granada and has been awarded over €320,000 in competitive funding, including a prestigious Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship. At expressTEC, Diego leads the development of bioinformatics and machine learning pipelines that integrate advanced analytics with real-time PCR data within the expressPIK project. His expertise in Bayesian and frequentist statistics, as well as high-performance computing, supports the translation of complex genomic information into actionable insights for precision oncology.
